Are you at or near your goal weight?0

I lost 60 in 6 months and have been stymied since August...not worried about it, but wondering if a person's body needs to adjust..I think once I can get outside for exercise, I will start losing again....hoping...0

Ignoring weight, if you compare your measurements and/or progress pictures to those from 4 weeks ago do you see any progress?0

36 pounds from goal weight.0

Ive never measured.0

Have you recalculated? As you get closer to goal you may have to adjust your weekly goal from 1 pound to 1/2 pound.0

If I change my settings to 1/2 pound a week it increases my caloric intake daily..how can INCREASING my calories make me lose weight?0

Time to change things up a bit...whatever you were doing, change your routine a bit...0

sometimes you have to change what you're doing. I know I can get to within 15 lbs of my goal weight with food changes only (I'm down 22 lbs, 30ish to go) but that last 15 lbs I REALLY have to exercise my butt off, and take very special attention to my diet. once I get the muscle base up, the weight is easy to keep off (with reasonable amounts of effort, but not impossible). I'm hoping to hit the gym soon, but with a small baby and no budget right now, it's just not happening.
You could try changing little things that need changing... up your water intake, increase your veggies, cut down meat. There is always something that can be changed up a little0 -

Because you were probably at too low which can stall weight loss. The body machine needs fuel to operate properly. What has been your calories? And how much do you workout?0 -

Once you get within a certain range of goal weight your body starts "holding onto" fat if your deficit is too large. It's a really crude, simplistic explanation but the link I'm going to post will explain it better.
My story? I struggled to lose the same 10 lbs for 2 years eating around 1300 calories a day. Not to mention how miserable I was. Anyway, I found a post on here titled "In Place of A Roadmap" and a group entitled "Eat More 2 Weigh Less". The reasoning made sense. I upped my calories gradually and magically, weight started coming off consistently. I'd highly recommend reading this:

If you don't believe me, ask the hundreds of men and women who this has worked for.0 -
Especially if you were eating continuously at a low level, your metabolism has probably slowed down. You need to speed it up by increasing your calories if not permanently then at least incorporating "refeed" days into your diet where you eat high carbs and high calories. For me, I do this about once a week so my metabolism doesn't slow down too much while I'm cutting.0

True story. This works flawlessly for both me and my wife.0 -

Have you adjusted your exercise routine? Our bodies are incredibly efficient and will eventually burn less calories if we continue to do the same activity. Perhaps you could make your workouts harder or longer? Try a new exercise class? Incorporate strength training?0

Totally in the same boat. I have lost 70 and have 20 to go and I have been struggling since Christmas. I have upped, cals decreased cals, worked out every day, not worked out at all. I am frustrated beyond belief!0

Jillian Michaels has a really helpful article about plateaus you might want to read and follow: http://www.everydayhealth.com/fitness-specialist/dealing-with-weight-loss-plateaus.aspx
After that, I would look at your macros. How much %protein, carbs, and fat are you eating? It might help to increase protein/fat, and decrease carbs. And, make sure you are eating CLEAN. So, little/no packaged food and lots of vegetables, fruits, and lean protein.
Then, I would look at your actual exercise routine. Are you doing just cardio? If yes, I would mix it up with strength training. If no, I would change up cardio (take different classes, try a different machine, increase incline, try HIIT), and increase weights for ST.
Good luck!0
