I have read all the craze about ZUMBA and would like to try it out. Does anyone have any online links that so I can try out ZUMBA. I don't know if I will like it enough to buy the DVD's and I don't want to make a fool out of myself at a ZUMBA class. Any help is appreciated..........

Why don't you just googlesearch "zumba, you tube" something should show up

  • I have, but there are so many that it is hard to weed out the good ones, and I guess I am looking for something that is an actual clip from an official DVD, even just 5 or 10 minutes to try out.........maybe I can ask my friend to borrow her video to try out.......Thanks!

Have you checked the area where you live for any Zumba classes? We have an awesome Zumba instructor here in Newton, Kansas that teaches a class at our local recreation center. She also teaches classes in Wichita. A group of us attend her class every week becaise we love the socializing, her, and the great workout ! :flowerforyou:
  • Hi.

Here is a link of a website that sells workout DVD's and they have preview clips of all of them. I have taken zumba classes from 4 different instructors so far and it varies quite a bit depending on the instructor. My two favorite ones that I have been going to for a few months now are more like the 2nd, 3rd and 4th examples on the list.

    Check them out here:

I personally prefer to attend a class. You feed off of people's energy and it's sooooo much fun! I make a total full of myself sometimes and I don't care! No one cares really, the rule is to have fun and keep moving no matter what! everyone leaves the classes smiling and super energized. Not just from the work out but from the fun!

I'd recommend you to go instead of buying the DVDs :-) I love, love, love my zumba classes!

    Good luck!

  • Ohhh and here is the actual zumba website : http://www.zumba.com/us/

I think what they offer there is way better and more fun than the DVD's on my previous link. The same as the actual classes, all the instructors are from this organization. Awesome!

You just gotta give it a go! I love it...nothing like exercise, except for the sweat, heart rate, and drop in weight...!
This is a very very basic peek...my instructor is phenomenal & puts stuff in I would never imagine myself being able to do...:

Give it more than one try. I even teach Zumba now,. But when I first tried it, all the music sounded the same to me, and even though I had a lot of exercise class and dance experience, I felt like I couldn't shake and roll quite that much. But now I love the music and I love the dancing.

The suggestions here are the same I would reccomend, except give it more than one try!
