Bad week...I just need to vent....

I know that this whole weight loss process is a series of ups and downs, good weeks and bad weeks, etc... But this week was a bad week and I just want a chance to whine and cry and stomp my feet!! :)

Okay so last Saturday was my big Easter dinner. Yes I indulged but I still stayed within my weekly calorie goals. Since then a ate fairly well and been drinking as much water as I can.

Yes, I increased my daily calorie goals from 1400 to 1500 in an effort to try to make myself not under eat as much (I was finding I had more days than I realized where my net calories were very low)....

But I am up 4 to 5 lbs and its really getting me down!!! My measurements have gone up too. It's just so frustrating!

Yes yes yes....,I've got to give it time. I know....like I said I just need to get out my frustrations and throw a mini temper tantrum.

Okay!! There!!!! I've said it!! Now hopefully I can put it past me and move forward and hopefully things steady off again!

I am in the rough week boat with you and it has nothing to do with Easter, just my bad choices. I have done well everyday and the shot myself down at night. I went in with a plan last night and it went better. Here's to a fresh new week for us!!

I can feel your pain. But it is nice to know you are not alone. I hope next week will be a turn around for you and you feel a little better.

Good luck with the new week ahead. Remember the past is behind you, just look positively toward the future, work hard, log, it'll be okay. :flowerforyou:

Those bad weeks happen, and they're so frustrating! The good thing is, you can vent here with people who understand instead of internalizing it. Now you can put it behind you and use it as motivation for a great week ahead. Think about what you can learn from it, too. I almost always find a lesson or something to be cautious of in the future in my slips.

Just keep on drinking water, making wise calorie choices & moving. It will come off.

Hope the vent helped. Sometime you just need that rant. I understand. We've all had THOSE weeks.

The important thing is to not give up and don't beat yourself up over it. We are all human and good and bad happen. With Spring and warmer weather it's up lifting. Pray you have a better week. DON'T GIVE UP

It takes a fair bit of trial and error.

Sounds like you're on the right track.

I'm guessing the increase of calories has caused a temporary gain. I see it happen slot myself, usually just a pound or so but it is frustrating. You're doing your body good, caused it little confusion now but it'll catch up just keep working the health lifestyle a you'll like the scale again in no time.
Oh and vent away, we all need it sometimes.
