Calories left but over on certain macros?!..Advice please

Just wondering what are other people's opinions on this, i'm relatively good at sticking with my macros however today i've noticed i have gone over on carbs yet my calorie count is still quite low with 500 left...

i know the reason for this, i went to sbarro with friends while out shopping and now my carb macros are nearly full while i've loads of calories left

guess i'm just wondering can this affect weight loss, being over on one macro....i'm only looking to loose my final 7-8lbs and is it little things like this that I should be watching..

If you're not going over your calories, you're still going to lose weight. I would just try not to eat too many more carbs for the remainder of the day, just so your macros are more balanced. You could have some salad with chicken or tuna or an omelet with veggies.

I don't know if you will find this helpful or not, but I have been eating an evening snack in order to get closer to my calorie goals. (I am a habitual under eater who is now reformed!) When I'm deciding what that evening snack will be, I usually check my macros pie chart on my phone and then choose a snack that fits within the calories I have left but also aims to improve my macro %s. So if I were high on carbs, I'd choose an evening snack that didn't include many carbs (protein shake, egg whites, etc). If I'm over on fat, I choose a more lean snack. Etc. But the number 1 priority is staying close to my calorie goal. It isn't perfect, but it gives me a little direction. I am not constantly watching my macros all day and pre-calculating them before every meal, but it is easy for me to do with that last small snack of the day.

Just be mindful that this doesn't happen every day forever as it could lead to problems. Other than that, not a big deal. Keep eating.
