Florida Peeps...Ocala area

I will be visiting my family in Ocala from the 10-17th, and am looking for ideas to kill some down time I may come into. I would prefer to not go more than 2 hours away. Any ideas??

    There is Gainesville about 45 minutes north on 75. College town with a few decent bars and not much else. The other option, and the more entertaining one in my opinion, is Tampa which is an hour and a half south on 75. Lot more to do there and I highly recommend Ybor City in northeast Tampa. You could also go to Orlando but I have always thought of that place as just an overpriced tourist trap.
