Hello! & Need to shed the extra pounds to model!

Hey everyone! I'm glad to now be a part of fitness pal!
I'll start off with a bit about myself. I'm 21 years old and I have been struggling with an extra 25 lbs since I was about 16. It has been a dream of mine to do some modeling since I was a little girl. But the extra weight has been holding me back for years. I've been struggling to loose it but I always range within 145-160lbs. I always make promises to myself that THIS TIME! will be the time I succeed. But each time, for the last 5 or 6 years I have failed. My motivation is pretty low by now, because I keep failing with my consistency of diet and exercise. I seem to maintain the extra weight mostly because I just LOVE FOOD. I enjoy it so much. And I know you can indulge a bit occasionally, but I always want a lot, and it's holding me back. This time, however, I HAVE to do it. I'm 21 years old and I'm technically considered kind of old for modeling at this age. I figure if I cant do it this time I may never do it. I've called and have spoken with a photographer and I'm planning on a shoot around June. I have no excuses this time. I started off pretty well at the beginning of the year with same goal and I did so well for so long!! But I stopped because I got lazy and I gained it all back. Its just so hard thinking that I may have been able to be at my goal now if I didn't fail AGAIN. But this time I'm making a promise on here to everyone that this time I will succeed!

Hi! I'm in a similar boat. I feel like to do eat pretty healthy, it's the exercise that always gets me. I'm looking to shed a few pounds and tone up a bit. Hoping it will help me book a few more acting gigs.0
