Can someone help calculate this?

I used this calculator http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/ to try to figure my body fat at the recommendation of someone else. I put in all my measurements and weight and it's saying it's 28.61%, which isn't right because according to their charts, that's in the "acceptable" range.

I am 303.8 lbs. My measurements are as follows (please don't judge, I'm trying to lose):
Waist: 46"
Wrist: 8.5"
Forearm: 12"
Hips: 61"
Neck: 17"
Thigh: 34.5"

ETA: I'm 5'6"

From that, I also wanted to try to figure out how much of that is muscle mass, and I ended up with the number 206.4, and I have no idea if it's right! Can someone help me here please? Thank you! :flowerforyou:

The site I used (idk how accurate it is) gave the following results:

    Body Mass Index: 49.1 kg/m2
    Waist-to-Height ratio: 0.70
    Percent Body Fat: 64.8%
    Lean Body Mass: 107.0 lb

I don't know how to calculate it but you're only 3 inches taller and 3 lbs heavier than I am, so 28% is definitely not right! Re-input your info, and see what happens, maybe you made a typo that you didn't notice. My BMI came out at something like 53% (sigh) so yours probably will be close to that, maybe lower but certainly not 28%!

Unfortunately, that calculator only seems to work for a relatively healthy range of weights. It's under for the overweight, and over for the extremely athletic.
I used the department of defense calculator originally, and it seems to keep fairly effective track; I ran your measurements and came up with 59.7% body fat, which is 122 lbs of lean weight. That's for my height, though, so if you're 5'11", you're golden. Otherwise, the formula is
    BF%=163.205*LOG(waist+hips - neck) - 97.684*LOG(height)-78.387
where measurements are given in inches.
http://www.calculator.net/army-body-fat-calculator.html will do the work for you, though it will round.
EDIT: With your height, it's 62.8% body fat and 113lbs of lean weight

With this I got 62.8% BF and my lean body mass is 113 pounds. It says my goal weight should be around 140 pounds if I have an ultimate BF% of 20, which I have no idea if I will be happy with more or less, but 20 sounded good, and 135 is my goal weight for now until I get closer and decide where I want to be.

This sounds more accurate to me :) Thank you everyone who answered. Of course if someone sees I am wrong, please correct me!

Also (sorry, I'm just terrible at math!) what is 80 percent of 113?

*ETA: nvm, I figured it out!

yeah, 28% can't be right- my body fat analyzer says I'm 29%, and I'm just 15 lbs overweight by BMI standards. (5' 4", 160 lbs)

Most gyms have the Omron body fat analyzers- try to use one of those. They're not extremely accurate (nothing is, except maybe those expensive pod things), but it's a good tool to gauge changes and it's easy to use. Much more accurate than the online calculators, for sure. I actually bought my own on Amazon for $30 (link below)
