Around 80 days in, 45 Lbs down w/Pics

I've been a big guy all of my life and it's never really bothered me. Things just got worse and worse as I got older because of my eating habbits and lack of activity. I woke up in the morning, drove to work, sat on my *kitten* for 9 hours, sat on my *kitten* some more in the car, went home and sat on the couch, showered and laid down. Whatever walking occurred between those activities (which wasn't much, I assure you) was the only activity I had.
One day in January out of no where I decided while in the middle of the grocery store to make a change. I told my wife and we bought a bunch of fruits and veggies, fresh meat, nixed everything processed. After searching for fitness apps, I signed up for MFP, 2 days later, my wife and I both joined the gym and we were on our way.
Here we are just about 80 days later. I have gone from 359 to 314 and my wife fro 265 to 234. I went from doing nothing to 5 days per week in the gym, with at least 2.5 miles of cardio a day and lifting each of those days. My wife is doing just about the same, though she doesn't log. I think the main thing that works for us is we made a lifestyle change, as opposed to a diet. That's why we are doing so well. My food diary is public, so feel free to take a look. If I want to have a steak, I'm going to have a steak. If I go out for dinner, I don't feel horrible about myself. I just learned what a sensible portion was. And if I cheat a bit (sorry I can't give up beer), then that's ok too. I've still got about 115 to go, but I feel good about the progress i've made.
The one thing that I recommend (as I've seen it recommended here many a times) is to take pictures throughout your weight loss journey. I personally couldn't see the weightloss until I saw the pictures. For me, my belly isn't just big and round, it sticks out two as that's where I carry most of my weight. It wasn't until I saw the pictures that I could see the very noticeable difference, especially when viewed from the side.
If we can do it, so can anyone else.
This is from around Christmas time of this year (if my son's outfit doesn't give it away)
This is from around 2 summers ago. I think I had to be over 360 at that point, but who knows, I didn't need no stinkin scale!
These next 2 are from today.
Warning, big man in underwear below
Now if only I could get the rest of my body to look my legs!
Thanks for listening.
