Ready to Jump Into The Message Board Pool

Hello everyone. My name is Lisa. Back in February after a dietician recommended it, I joined MFP to keep better track of both of food intake and fitness so I could see where I was succeeding and where I needed to do some work. This has by far been the most useful tool.

I have tried to lose weight many times before but I feel that this time I am in it to win it. After a scare at the doctor's office I decided it was time to seriously try again. In January of 2012 I weighed around 328. Today I am now down a little over 60 pounds. It has been a struggle (some bad days but many good ones). I have found that really do enjoy eating healthier and trying new things and I have come to LOVE spending time at the gym. My two newest loves are Zumba and Les Mills Body Pump.

I don't always have a ton of time but recently I have peeked into the message boards and found some amazingly wonderful topics on so many things that I have myself struggled with or questioned. There are also so many inspiring people who have done so well. I feel I can learn so much from you all.

I am looking to add some friends with similar stories or just those that have things to share as I continue on my journey. Would love to gain perspective from some new people and find a new level of help and support (which can be so key).
