How does Ripped in 30 compare to 30 Day Shred?

How do they compare? Is one more difficult than they other? Do you prefer one over the other and why? I like 30DS, but looking for something new.

    I prefer 30 Day Shred but then to be honest I think it's pretty mixed for what the individual likes!
    30DS has better moves I think and flows better, I found I got bored with Ripped in 30.

    Ripped in 30 has 4 levels, 30 Day Shred only has 3. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

    I do them both just for variety. They both make you work the full thirty mins or so.Jillian says it's 20 mins but it's more like 30 with warmup.

    I like 30 day shred better.

    I've seen several people post that they did the shred first then the ripped. I've started the shred so I can only say i'm doing that first.

    I've done both and some other JM dvd's. I started with 30DS then moved to RI30. I liked RI30, I found it slightly more advanced, but really, they are both good. You can try 30DS free on youtube, RI30 you would have to buy.

    The workouts themselves are pretty similar (3 minutes strength, 2 cardio, 1 abs), but I liked 30DS better. Jillian annoyed me more in RI30; she was trying to be too funny or something. Still a good workout though, and I appreciate that you do 3 strength moves in each circuit instead of 2 like in 30DS.

    I am doing both DVDs now. Day 6 level 1 on 30DS and Day 3 Week 1 RI30. I like the flow of RI30 better and I find its making me work. I am sore after this workout not so much with 30DS but I am sure that will change in level 2!
