NSV - Just got back from the doctor...

...and he has reduced my blood pressure medicine by half and he said I could probably come off the metformin for my blood sugar too, but he thinks it might be helping me lose wieght so I am going to stay on it and address it at my next check up in three months. I'm am so pumped right now because getting off medication is one of my biggest goals!

    Congratulations! I finally got my Cholesterol under 200 and am off those meds. I hope to get off the BP meds eventually.

    Way to go! Congrats on the good news.

    I have an appointment (3-month follow-up) with my dr this afternoon. I was in for labs Thursday morning. I am hoping she will have good news for me - that blood pressure, A1C and cholesterol numbers are all lower. I know the number on the scale is lower!
