Need more info...what kind of help do you need, how many cals are you eating, are you having a hard time finding food to eat within your cals or what?0

No one can give you motivation. You have to want it bad enough for weight loss to happen. It doesn't happen overnight. You won't lose weight each week. It won't be super easy. It takes work.
If you want it bad enough do it. Do what it takes. Exercise, eat well and get enough water and sleep.
If you end up eating more because you are trying to lose either you are cutting out too many foods causing yourself to eat more or you are not eating enough.0 -
Breathe in, breathe out.
Here's an idea, stop thinking about "losing weight" and just begin by tracking your food and keeping a journal [5 minutes a day] with no judgement.
Start your day with a high-protein breakfast [I like real food: eggs, Greek yogurt, almond butter on rice bread/toast]. Eat breakfast early, what works for me---in cutting later day cravings is to get a good breakfast with lots of protein whether you are hungry for breakfast or not.
Prepare little baggies of great snacks [again this takes me 5 minutes in the morning]: 12 almonds, 15 walnuts or thinly sliced celery, carrots, bell peppers
Do ONE thing every day that increases your exercise: take the stairs, ride a bike [even 5 minutes is a good start], walk one block or two or three.
With kindness to yourself look at your food diary at the end of the week and think of ONE thing you could change that doesn't feel scary [one cookie, instead of 3/one soda--if you drink them instead of 3/].....
And ask yourself:
What is one thing I can do just for today that is different?
What is holding me back [no blame, no shame]?
Good luck on this journey. I know you can do it.0 -
Open up your diary. You may be stressing over nothing really....you might be trying to eat too little. and if it is stressing you out, up your calories to a place where you feel more comfortable and satisfied and you will still be able to lose weight. Go find your BMR and TDEE calculation and go off of those....see if that works for a bit. you don't have to go so drastic to lose weight...

I eat 1500 calories as a minimum and burn atleast 200 calories per workout which I have 5 days a week. I walk around a pretty good bit daily and I eat most of my calories. I am trying to lose the last 5 pounds and I am 5'3 and 120 lbs. I want to be down to 115 lbs. as this is where I was until I started eating excessive amounts of calories. Thoughts?!0

Well, my personal thought is that if you're 5'3" (I am too) - 120 sounds like a fine weight to be at. "Ideal" weight for 5'3" is about 118.
Personally, I say you're fine, and stop stressing over 2 lbs. Your calories sound about right for a deficit with exercise. Definitely don't eat less. Maybe amp up the workouts a little more for a few weeks. Drink enough water (water flushes water, so it will help with anything you might be retaining).
The last few pounds are always the hardest, so they say. Mostly, ignore the scale and go by how you feel and how all of your normal clothes are fitting. As long as nothing changes with that, you're fine.0 -
Maybe look at WHAT you are eating. If you are eating a lot of processed foods or foods higher in sodium that might not be helping. Try eating cleaner if you aren't already0

Your calories do sound fine. That actually isn't all that much food so no idea why you are stressing about over-eating. I am shorter, 47 years old and only walked for exercise and could eat way more and lose. The last little bit IS very hard to lose. You probably just need to do strenght training is you aren't already to firm things up.0
