Several friends have requested progress pictures:

On a trip to Hawaii, I was fatigued and depressed. I complained about walking a half mile.

Fitness - I can now run 6 miles, bike for an hour and spend an hour a week lifting light weights. I'm much happier and have tons of energy!!!

I started MFP on 9-24-2009 and haven't looked back. 53 pounds has made a world of difference in my life. I would still like to lose 44 more pounds but am happy with myself now. I just started training for the Detroit 1/2 Marathon. I plan to move onto P90X after the October race. 1 more pound and I will no longer be obese!!! General tips: get an exercise partner, eat cleaner, weigh your food and join several threads to get more support. If I can do this, then anyone can.

    Thanks for all your support!!! I am proud of what I've accomplished. I realize that in order to keep weight off, it needs to be a slow process. It will probably take another year to get to my ideal weight. My plan is to focus on portion sizes and eat everything but in moderation.
