Getting into Gear

Hey all!
I've recently started training for my first "try a tri" triathlon (350m swim, 10k bike, 2.5k run).
I joined this site to really monitor and pay attention to my calorie intake as well as my activity level (I'm trying to lose 5lbs).
The race is in June.
If anyone has any nutrition or fitness advice, feel free to pass it along!
(I've got a slight problem with hunger/eating out of boredom, and my swimming technique sucks)
So, just wanted to pop by and say hi! =3
