Help!!

I have just been told I have Costochondritis sad times! It could last up 8 weeks so me only just using MFP regular and knowing nothing about exercise is there any cardio exercises I can do which is effective but not gonna have me curling up in a ball crying in pain?!

    I am not a physician so what I know is based only on us touching on it when I was in college (and that was a while ago), BUT from what I remember, anything you do has to be easy and gentle and you need to avoid anything that worsens your symptoms. Sorry you are dealing with this. From what I remember, it's very painful :(

    Yeah it's ridiculously painful :( Just don't want to get off track because of it! I need to look at gentle things I can do then! Thanks x
  • Don't really know much about costochondirtis sounds super painful. Maybe some info from this link can help.

    My guess would be to do lower impact cardio exercises ie: eliptical not moving arms, recumbent bicycle, and walking on treadmill uphill and not to much strength training. Try different things and see what work . Don't push your self if you feel too much pain stop and try other forms of exercise.
