How many push-ups can you do?

How many regular push-ups can you do in a row? No breaks, just keep going until you can't lift up anymore.

Most I have ever done is 80 consecutive. I was trying to get to 100 in a row, but lost interest and just started bench pressing heavier.

Last time I tried I did 67, but I did them AFTER my workout... so i know I can bust out more.

In the fall I did this fresh and got to 100 in like 3:30 mins

10 real and then 10 modified after a few jumping jacks. Then I just curse at Jillian with my face in the carpet until it's time to do the next thing :grumble:

But I vow to improve upon this!

I restarted a strength program, basically I'm loosely following P90X - I haven't done actual, straight strength training in forever!
Needless to say I was pretty shocked and now I'm pretty sore

Military and diamond push ups were done on my knees though....

I am in the middle of a challenge with a friend. It started out on Jan 1, 2013 (this first challenge was to do 2013 pushups to bring in the new year) and now its to see who can get to 100,000 first. I still can't do anymore than 105 at once but I typically try to do 500 a day..... its been 4 months and 9 days and I am at 38,750.

    I did 25 (!!!!!!!) on Sunday - but that doesn't count because they were in sets: 10, 10, 5 - then I did 5, 10 and 10 modified.

The most I've done at once was 10, and that's just recently. Yeaaaa for getting stronger!!

70-75 with good form. There's a couple of good apps that help with building up if you're trying to work on that. Just a little fyi.

Around 50. I've never gotten very good results from any push-up-related regimen I've tried; eventually I just stopped caring and decided to focus on something I'm good at and enjoy more. :P

It's been a few weeks since I tried but it was 45 then. I'm finishing up phase 2 of P90X next week so I'll test again soon. My arms are long and thin so it seems harder for me to crank them out. Before P90X I was lucky to get 20-25.

Yesterday I did 3 sets of 12 with 30 seconds of rest in between, in my session with the trainer. It's the first time I did all "big girl" pushups, not the "little girl" ones, or some of each. I started out not being able to do any, so I"m happy with it.

Around 50 without stopping. Might try at gym tomorrow to see if I can improve on this number.
