Sophie! Read this book it is fantastic, http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-New-Rules-Lifting-Women/dp/1583333398/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365551544&sr=8-1&keywords=new+rules+of+lifting+for+women
If you want to, go round my house one evening and pick up my copy if my dad's in?
There's a good fb group for it too https://www.facebook.com/groups/NROL4W/?fref=ts0 -

That's a great book. It's cuts through a lot of the myth and BS surrounding women and weight lifting, including "toning".0 -

Yes, its a real eye opener, just cuts straight to the facts and explains how women cannot suddenly turn into gladiator/jodie-marsh/juice head guidos overnight from lifting a weight even if you use it as a guide rather than a strict plan, it's worth a read its got some clever stuff in it.
it's a great book, i would really reccomend it, it tells you how to get into doing weights. when i started following it, i didn't lose much lbs on the scale, but i dropped a dress size and a half in about 1-2 months.
p.s. you don't have any rubbishy bits, they are all lovely! :flowerforyou:0 -
If you have access to a pool try swimming. I love what it is doing for my arms and core right now. I have been swimming twice a week for about 30-50 min. I just love how relaxing it is too.0
