"An urgent recall has been issued for Alysena-28 birth control pills. They contain two weeks of placebo pills instead of one, raising the possibility of unplanned pregnancy. The company informed wholesalers and retailers Friday, but did not warn women who are taking the pill. Should they have done more?"     Oh this. If you've been using condoms as well you're likely fine. But blood-captured pregnancy test is in order for anyone affected by this.

    Holy smokes. Thank God I don't use the pill. This just reaffirms my distrust. Condoms folks. Just use a stinkin condom. OR maybe even a diaphragm, or foam or something along with your pill. My prayers for all.

    Those are not fool proof either. Condoms break. Diaphragms can be worn or have flaws. Foam is like 70-80% effective.

    As my health teacher once said. The only 100% proof way not to get pregnant is to not have sex. Or get fixed.

    That's not good. But usually the placebos are a different color than the active pills. How could you miss that?

    Getting "fixed" isnt 100 percent either.. Have you ever seen the show "I didnt know I was pregnant"? Some vasectomies aren't effective... Scary stuff.
