    there is a wall to the right, and directly behind mine..unfortunately, there is not room for it anywhere else..i do enjoy treadmill fall vids tho

    The real danger is that because of this, I just spent 10 minutes watching cats on treadmills and then animals playing dead.

    Run outside? Yeah. . . it's 120˚ here in the summer with lows in the 90's. I'll stay on the treadmill in the comfort of my air conditioned house. I haven't fallen off in the 11 years I've owned my treadmill. I think I'll be okay.

    I've had a run in with one of those newfangled running machines! It was pretty similar to the videos... Except behind me was a large metal trailer so I held onto the handles. So I dropped to my knees when my ankle twisted, skinned those up pretty nice, then when my knees fell out from under me, it skinned my calf. I had the little leash thing on, but it was about a half inch too long! :laugh:

    There's a weight bench right behind my treadmill because of stupid space issue. Always always always wear the little leash. And always speed up WITH the machine rather than waiting for it to be at speed. Never yet had an issue.
