Hi, another newbie here. I have decided to do something about my morbidly obese weight (312lbs) before the big 50 birthday next year....so here goes. I think it may be a struggle, but the weight didn't all come on overnight, so if I make a start now (while the sun is shining ) that will be better than doing nothing at all.

Well done on making the decision to become a healthier you. You can do this - and it shouldn't be as difficult or daunting as you think,
I started out at 306 on 14th January this year - so 12ish weeks ago - and have lost 27 pounds just by following the plan. Counting calories and sticking to the calories that MFP has told me.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you wish.
Good luck with your endeavours - you can do this!0 -
Good for you and welcome to MFP, message sent if you wish to add0
