Is this right??? HELP PLEASE!

I've been on a pretty low calorie diet and everyone that screams TDEE would say that I'm losing a lot of muscle. BUT:

at 140lbs, I was 30% fat. 140x0.3=42lbs of fat
at 130lbs, I was 25.2% fat 130x0.252=32.76lbs of fat

So, I've lost 10lbs total and 9.24 lbs of that was pure fat. 92.4% of my weight loss was fat. I've been using http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/mbf/ to calculate my bf. Don't have calipers, personal trainer, etc. I only have the calculators.

I can add pics, if necessary. Is this good? Is this minimal LBM loss? Or am I losing a lot of muscle for my 10lbs?

Thanks!

Usually a net of 1200 calories. I just started wellbutrin, which kills my appetite so probably even less lately. I was worried about losing muscle.

People may have been put off by the lead sentence of your post, regarding people screaming about TDEE. That's just a number which quantifies the total number of calories that a person burns in a day.

This may be an unanswerable question. Even calipers and so forth are relatively inaccurate for measuring body fat, let alone home measurements and online calculators. 5% is less than the margin of error.

At Eat, Train, Progress, SideSteel and Sarauk2sf offer to attempt to visually estimate your BF%. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/826435-bodyfat-estimation-thread

I agree that sometimes a visual guess can be better than calculators and second Burt's suggestion for the ETP thread.

At least you are netting 1200 calories, which is going to be better than not eating back your exercise calories. How much protein do you eat? What kind of exercise do you do? Lifting weights (not the 3 or 5lbers) and eating higher protein (1.4g per kg bodyweight) can also help mitigate muscle loss.

You are in a difficult place believe it or not. You have maybe 10lbs to lose. A bit more if you want to go way down to the lowest end of a healthy weight for your height, but really not much more. It's very difficult to lose 10 lbs when you are that close to your ideal weight. And you might already be there. It's impossible to tell with online calculators, they vary so much, I doubt any are accurate. I remember there was this pinch an inch test. So maybe if you can't pinch an inch you are at a healthy weight, I think it was the waist area to pinch.

So, congrats on getting a handle on your issues at such a young age. Just make sure your goals are realistic, a doctor might be able to help you there. Don't be scared to get any other help you need, it's too easy to turn down the wrong path trying so hard to be what you think would be perfect and then doing real damage to your body while you are at it.
