low sodium chickpeas (1/2 c. rinsed and drained)
low sodium tuna (small can or 1/2 a small can)
    small apple (diced)
    feta cheese (1-2 Tbsp)
    avocado (diced)
    Greek seasoning to taste
    Balsamic vinegar to taste

Mix it all up and it is a filling lunch/ salad. Sometimes I don't add the apple and when I am craving heavy salt I add some sliced black olives.

    Hope ya like

Tuna, sweet corn, onion, mayo (optional, sometimes I leave it out when I can't afford the calories) and a few raisins mixed in with pasta. YUMMY.

Mix with brocolli slaw (dry), hot sauce and grainy mustard - add cranberries & almonds as desired.

Tinned tuna is my go to. I love it with chinese lettuce, red peppers, marinated artichoke, spring onions and some mayo, so yummy and around 300cals!

Didn't read all the replies, but I like to mix it with cottage cheese (extra protein...WOOT!!). Sometimes I'll just mix it with spicy mustard.

I do cottage cheese too. In the summer I scoop out a home grown tomato and fill it with cottage cheese & tuna mixed. Yum! Good ideas here...especially if you're like me and hate mayo!

Depending on your personal diet restrictions, you may have to tweak some ingredients or reject a complete recipe, but here are a few that I like. I always use chunk light tuna in the smaller cans (5 or 6 oz.).

    TUNA CRUNCH SALAD

    1 can tuna, drained
    ¼ c. chopped sweet pickles
    1 T. onion, minced
    1 to 2 T. lemon juice
    ¼ c. Miracle Whip
    1½ c. shredded cabbage
    1¼ c. crushed potato chips

Combine all but the potato chips and add those just before serving.

RED GRAPE & TUNA SALAD PITA (CarbLovers Diet recipe)

1 can tuna in water, drained
    ½ cup red grapes, halved
1 tablespoon slivered almonds (I just chop up whole almonds instead of buying them slivered.)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint (I've left out the mint before, and it still tastes good.)
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    2 teaspoons olive oil
    1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 whole-grain pita, halved (or 2 slices wheat bread or tortillas)

Combine first 7 ingredients (through pepper) in a small bowl. Toss gently. Serve in pita halves (or bread or tortillas).

    TUNA FISH & TOAST

1 or more cans tuna, drained
cooking oil, bacon drippings or oil from tuna
    flour
    milk
    salt
    toast, unbuttered

One can of tuna (packed in either oil or water) works fine. If you're making a lot of gravy, you might want to add another can. Amounts of oil, flour and milk depend on how much gravy you need to make. For each cup of gravy, you will need 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 tablespoon of flour and 1 cup of milk. Heat the oil in a skillet or saucepan. Add flour and stir until smooth and bubbly. Add milk and tuna and stir until thick. Salt to taste. Place a slice of toast on your plate and cover with a dipper of tuna gravy. If desired, layer with another slice of toast and another dipper of gravy. This dish goes especially well with a tossed salad and sliced tomatoes.

    SIMPLE TUNA SALAD

    1 can tuna, drained
Miracle Whip (I've also used mayo and lemon juice instead of Miracle Whip.)

Combine and eat alone, on crackers, as a wrap, or as a sandwich.

    TUNA ROTINI ALFREDO

    8 oz. rotini
1 jar Ragu Classic Alfredo sauce
    1 can tuna, drained

Cook the rotini per package instructions. Heat sauce. Combine sauce, cooked rotini, and drained tuna.

TUNA HELPER has some good choices, if you don't object to eating boxed dinners.

Tuna Crunch is my favourite. One of the healthy options my mum pushed my way.

Tuna & Light Mayo, Chopped Peppers, Red Onions, Cucumber, Celery, Apple and maybe some sultana's (if i'm feeling fruity ;D ).

In a wrap, in a sandwhich, as a seperate salad. I enjoy it all. :) Crunchy, filling and OHSOGOOD.

    yumm......

I package low sodium starkist tuna in water
    1/2 cucumber (8-10 inches long)
1/4 cup shredded cheese of your choice
    2 Spring onions
    Badia seasoning
    wasabi (optional)

put tuna in a bowl add cheese heat in microwave for a few seconds to melt cheese a little
Slice cucumber into semi thick slices place on plate
    Sprinkle Badia on cucumbers (optional)
Place scoops of tuna mixture on cucumbers
Stick little pieces of the spring onions on top (carrots are good too)
Pick up with fingers and NOM NOM NOM!

This is just the main part of the meal you can add 2 other sides of your choosing to fit your daily RDI. You can browse my diary to see what I had with it I cant remember...prob mini snack peppers and spicy hummus :/
