What can I do?

So I signed up here like 7 months after I was losing weight at work made me feel motivated. I lost a whole lot of weight! I was so happy! I worked at Walmart, so I walked a lot, bent over a lot to clean up; in other words, I was on my feet a lot for more than 8 hours. My feet hurt, but damn it, I was so happy! I never checked the scale, but I noticed that my pants fit! I used to have to crouch down a lot and did like movements to stretch out my pants, but then I noticed one day that I just slid in my pants, zipped up and I was done. I could sit down and felt comfortable. No muffin top, nothing! I was so happy!
So I did the fitness pal again and lost more than 8 pounds in month working! But then school started and I left my job, the weight just went up. Then we had a tragedy in the family on New Years Eve. My Sister-In-Law passed away with Pneumonia, pregnant at 3 months and 28 years old. She left my grief-stricken older brother and two children at my parents and I care. The kids are only 2 and 4 years old and the 4 never went to school. Her mom was "Home schooling" her (it was just her on the computer playing Barbie most of the time) So she's not going to school at all! So She's at home a lot instead of going to school and the school year is almost over that I don't think there's anymore time to enroll her.
So my life turned from lazy college student life to basically Mommy mode. I started my next college semester and it's been hard! I literally care for the kids all week, only two times a week, my older brother comes home to care for them because I got to school. But all he does is just sit on the couch, talking on the phone and crying... not paying attention to the children. I come home and it's a mess. We tried so many times to get him to go get help, but he's so stubborn. He doesn't want to do anything with the kids... so I'm here, at home, caring for the children. I'm failing my semester, and I'm on loans... and no matter what I do, I can't do anything. And because of this stress, my weight has gone up and I just look like crap.
It's gotten better since all this happened... it's been 4 months and I feel like I'm doing okay with the children, but with school and my weight, I feel bad. Our lives is like when a newlywed couple have a child, so it's hard to do normal things around the house. Doing exercise is hard to do when you have a two year old and four year old craving for constant attention!
Any advice at all for me? How I can make a positive turn to something so sad and negative?

If you join your area YMCA, they have childwatch while you work out and I bet you can get a lower monthly rate on scholarship.
I am so sorry for your recent loss. Your brother must be so devestated. Find out if you have a "Head Start" program in your area for the four year old-that will start to get her ready for school.
This is serious stuff, you may need to cut back on your school hours until your life stabilizes. This time in your life will pass, but I'm certain that you feel like you are drowning. You will make it, one foot in front of the other.
I will be praying for you in the meantime. Feel free to add me as a friend and message me privately whenever you need a shoulder to lean on.
Also-you might want to look into some counseling for yourself--you sound depressed and rightfully so.:flowerforyou:0 -

Well, I would take them to YMCA but I have no car... we have just a few cars and my brother took the last one working.
"Head Start"? What's that?
I wish I could, but I really don't want to quit school at all! I'm only taking two classes, but it's Math and Anatomy, and I'm horrible with Math. I'm only two semesters to go to get my degree. So I really don't want to do that... and my loans tell me that I have to keep going to school to not pay the money yet because if I do, it will seem like I quit school and I have to start to paying back.
Thank you for the offer, I shall add you.
Depressed? lol, I hope not. I am currently with a Psychiatrist but mostly for ADD medications for school, and she has said I'm fine mentally. I do feel stressed, but not really depressed. I have been thinking of going to see the Counselor at school to see what I can do and what options are there for me in my current situation. I don't want to do anything yet with school until I'm assured that nothing will go wrong with the loans if I do something.0 -
That's alot of stuff making it hard to really do anything. I had a month like that and after having worked so hard I gained all the weight back and more. I am so mad to have gained the weight back. I hear that herbalife is a great product to assist in weight loss. Its not like slimfast where you just take it. you eat it with a healthy meal and it helps you to get more out of your workout. I have started selling it and would be able to give you a discount. Its only about a $1.33 per meal. In reality that's pretty good. I have worked at the YMCA too and its really a great place to start your workout goals. They are great at helping out families in need with their membership costs and the child care (if your willing to pay the extra cost) teaches children as well as giving them a good productive routine (our Early childhood education class even gets to come play in the swimming pools for free time) Its just a great service. If you want more information on the herbalife you can just email me (kaypee.v.2.0@gmail.com) but i wish you and your family luck and my blessings are with you guys. that's really rough...0
