Name the Dog! XD Please? lol

Hi, I'm adopting a dog from the humane society, and well... No matter how hard I try I can't figure out what to name this guy. Normally I would take him in and see what name sticks, but there's a rule with the humane society that he has to have tags before he leaves so i guess we have to name him before we get him home....

My hubby's favorite name so far is Lucky... He seams to like names that end in Y....
I'm Kinda liking Harper, but nothing seams to quite fit.
The humane Society named him Scooter and Arthur, depending on who you ask.

Hes' a Jack Russel Lab mix.

    he's adorable! I'm bad with choosing names. normally with our pets my daughter chooses a beginning letter, then I just find a website and ramble some off until she chooses one she likes.

    Looks more like an Artie than Arthur. But I also like snickers. His coloring is like a snickers bar, chocolate and tan and this pic make him kind of look like he's snickering at us!:bigsmile:

    Oh, and be sure you have a good fence, mine is also a jack russell mix and loves whomever is on the other side of ours lol!

    Kidding, I don't really know, my boston terrier is called Tuna... I feel strongly you need to keep it 2 syllables though, anything longer and they start to get confused / pretend not to hear you.

    We adopted a dog from the local pound when I was a kid. We named him Newton cause we had him neutered. :laugh: (My dad's idea. I didn't understand what neutering was.) Its an idea.

    Our family nearly adopted a Jack Russell. (He was abused and neglected dog and I figured that we could provide a stable loving home for him. But his foster mom brought him over for a visit to get acclimated and he bit my youngest son. I figured that he was just stressed by my son being all over him too soon. But I couldn't in good conscience take him not knowing if it was going to work out. He had been through too much already.) His name was Rocky. I'll never forget him. (PS His foster home did find a good home on a farm.)
