Hi all my first post here. I have read through a lot of the posts ye are all doing so well. Love looking at the before and after pictures . That's what's keeping me going at the mintue because for 4 weeks the scale has not moved. Except for that same bloody pound up and down.
Started the 30 ds on day 10 now still staying within my goal. So what gives
Its so annoying I only want to lose another 10 to 14 pounds but I feel like I might as well have 10 stone to lose
Any advice is welcome thanks

Patience, which is the most annoying thing to have to work with. You're doing all the right things, looking at the right motivation, and keeping up with the work! That's a win. Do the work, results will follow.0

Make sure your calorie deficit isn't too large. With only 10-15 pounds to lose you should only be aiming for a 1/2 pound a week. Take measurements and pictures. And patience.0

For the last 10 lbs (which are notoriously difficult) I just tightened up my logging accuracy (weighing everything instead of measuring by volume, double checking calorie counts, etc), set MFP to lose .5 lbs/week, and ate back half of my exercise calories.
Other than that, just be patient. It's the hardest part of weight loss, imo.0 -
A couple things to consider to make sure your logging is accurate:
Do you have a food scale and measuring cups? Make sure you're properly logging all your food.
If you're "eating back exercise calories", (which you should be doing if you're using MFP the way it's set up. If you're going the TDEE -20% route then that's a different story), make sure you're not super over estimating your calorie burns. An HRM as helped me with this but it's not necessary, just takes all the guessing outta the equation and has worked well for me.
Be patient and good luck.0 -
Thanks guys I've changed my goal now to lose .5 pound per week. Bit scary seeing the rise in calories to eat nearly 700 left to eat today how I'll get them in I don't know.
Afraid now I'll gain weight but I'll keep going.
Hopefully when I've finished the 30ds the scales might have moved.
I know I've already changed a bit in the last ten days jeans are fitting better.
Just really wanted to be down before holidays in 6 weeks.0 -
It's a little scary to increase calories but it's not difficult. Just eat more calorie dense foods. If you're buying anything "diet" just switch to regular. Eat full fat dairy, avocados, nuts/nut butters, etc.0
