Can I keep this up?

Talk about a slump...I was in a BIG one for months, and ended up gaining a lot. Sometimes I would eat ok, most of the time not, develioped a lot of bad habits. I'm finally on the right track...but so impatient! Jumping on the scale every chance I get! Anyways, I have been working out ALOT the last few days...which, in the past, has been the key to my sucess. I just hope i can keep the momentum going, even if i don't see the scale move yet.

  • This journey, upon which you've embarked, is one of the most difficult that you'll ever attempt. The key is to decide that this is really, really important to you...that NOW - you've decided to put yourself and your health FIRST!

    Yes, there will be times that you slip. Yes, there will be "days of the month" that the scale will not budge and (oh my) even creep up a bit. AND YES - there will be times that you've "been really good" and that the "math" indicates that you should be losing when, for some unknown reason, you don't. (I'm living thru one of these now! YUK! ARG! Calories in are less than calories burned and drinking all my water and yet...the scale doesn't budge.) THESE are the times when you show how committed you really are to this journey.

    Don't give up. If you slip, get right back and start over. The next meal or the next day is a new opportunity to restart your journey!! May you successfully reach your goal! GO TEAM!!!! :bigsmile:
