I'm having a terrible day, I'm a comfort eater, and all I want to do right now is stuff my face with aaaaaall the cake. Even the success stories thread isn't helping. Someone throw me a bone, please!

    Something I just recently tried out: pockethungercoach.com

    It has helped talk me down from emotional eating three times already. The fourth time, that Kit-Kat was asking it for it, so I ate him anyway.

    I have had those days when I want to eat ALL THE THINGS! Get a glass of water, chew some gum and do some jumping jacks. Grab a healthy snack. If you can avoid a binge (very hard for me) have a small slice. But, if that will trigger a full on stress eating gorge-fest, STEP AWAY FROM THE CAKE! You can do it!
