Hi everyone! My name is Shannon and I'm from Florida. I have about 30 lbs to lose before my wedding in October and I'm hoping that I can reach my goal. Any words of advice are always welcome. Thanks!

Hi, I'm kinda of new here, but I've learned as long you log everything you do and eat you'll lose weight. You've given yourself plenty of time to lose before your wedding, Congrats:smile: BTW love the horse in your profile pic, I ride too. If you want to add me for support you're more than welcome to. Hey! I think your goal is realistic and it is measurable so you are off to a great start.

I would suggest cutting out grains, wheat, bread, pasta etc and dairy and focus on putting whole, natural foods into your body, so plenty of vegetables, lean meats, fruits, nuts and seeds.

I have started cutting out gluten, grains and dairy and I am feeling really great!

Let me know if you want more information and also feel free to add me as a friend and take a look at my diary. Cheers and good luck!

I was actually advised by my doctor to cut out gluten because he thinks I may be intolerant. I also read the book "Wheat Belly" that opened my eyes about wheat and grains so I am doing my best to keep them out of my diet.
