Carbohydrate Cycling

I want to try out carb cycling and wanted to know from those who have done it, is it legit and beneficial? I'm going to try this out because I want to lose body fat and gain muscle simultaneously. I plan on doing a few days of low carb, a couple medium, and a couple high.
Thanks in advance for the input!
(Also, I will be keeping my protein high through the cycle and fat a little bit higher on the low carb days)

you cant loose weight and gain muscle at the same time... this is sooooooooooooo RARE.. may only see it in very new beginning at the gym or some genetic freaks.
you dont need to carb cycle... if you want to loose weight jus simple reduce your calories below your maintenance 10-15% and if you want to put on muscle increase your calories by 10-15%0 -
Carb cycling is the kind of thing the average joe [or jane ] trying to get in shape doesn't need to worry about. It is minutiae and any benefits are small if any. Focus on maintaining a calorie deficit and start a consistent strength training program is going to get you the results you need. Only reason to "cycle" carbs at all would be for taking in more or less carbs due to personal preference or performance issues (eg. Ioading up on carbs before a workout).0

I tend to agree with RyRy. Don't think so hard at this stage of the game. Focus on putting on lean muscle, and the fat loss will come.0

Thanks for all the input I will rethink the carb cycling.0

The easiest and simplest way to implement carb cycling is to:
- Weigh training days: eat carbs (starch/sugar) post-workout
- Rest days and cardio only days: no carbs or round the 50-60g mark
It's not that complicated. Try it and see how you go0 -
I was considering it also but decided I wanted to just do 40c/30f/30p. That's easier for me and serves my needs. I may cycle in the future when I'm more fit.
I only cycled once before and not sure how well I did it, but those low carb days sucked for me.0 -

just focus of macronutrient intake... carbs dont matter.. your body recognises a carb as a carb wherver you get it from... meal timing and frequency doesnt matter (unless your diabetic obv) becuase you cant increase your BASAL metabolism.. and yer its just so simple and str8 forward noooooo complications at all..
the people that say i cant loose weight bcuz my metab is slow or i cant gain weight becuase its too fast... jus shake your head at them lol0
