Fat does make you fat. Overconsumption of calories makes you fat. Which 1900 calories does not qualify for. You are fine.

It's just one day. Something I read here and I think this is a great quote.

One day does not make you fat, just like one day does not make you skinny.

Last weekend I ate badly, but yet when I weighed myself today, I was still down 1.5 pounds.

So, you indulged and had some fun at a pool party. It's not the end of the world. <3

    1) Swimming burns calories. So you might have actually needed the extra calories you ate.
    2) It was only one day. It won't harm you in the long run if you don't let it. I've had days where I've gone over my allotted calories and I'm still losing weight. You logged it, which was good, but as long as you don't continue to go over it shouldn't affect your progress.
    3) Pick up tomorrow where you left off on Tuesday.

I looked at your diary, and don't think you have anything to worry about. You're still at a deficit for the day, and it's not like you had a major binge. Two slices of pizza and 4 cookies might not be the healthiest meal, but it's fine for a special occasion. Life's too short to get caught up in eating perfectly every day, so forgive yourself and eat lots of fruits and vegetables tomorrow, without restricting any more calories than are necessary.

I take it you don't do this on a regular basis, so no big deal! Tomorrow is a new day my friend. :flowerforyou:

1900 calories is below your TDEE. You won't gain anything. You might have a wee bit of water retention if it was high sodium, but meh.

In for the hair shirts and self flagellation

Or you could just forget about it and move on

I always remind myself, I didn't get out of shape from eating bad once or missing exercise a couple times. It's about the voerall consistency you have that will make the difference. A day here and there isn't a big deal. Enjoy the calories and work them off the next few days.

    ^this.

And even if you were to have an epic blowout and eat an additional 1900 additional calories (which you did not), it still wouldn't even be a pound of potential fat gain. Even still, the worst thing you could do is to let it get you down and possibly affect your choices tomorrow.

Honestly, after a prolonged period of eating at a deficit, I believe there are many benefits to having a "refeed" type meal *occasionally*...and given your successful weight loss, I'd guess you've had a fairly extended period of eating at a deficit...so not only is this not a "bad" thing, but also it's very likely a "good" thing.

I see you're down 76 lbs. Awesome sauce! I wouldn't worry about one day no matter how bad it was.

A refeed day is certainly a good idea. I have been told that I should be having one refeed day every two weeks at minimum but the calories should come largely from complex carbohydrates, not fats. on those days I consume roughly the amount of calories my TDEE suggests but any additional calories from my dieting TDEE are made up of complex carbs (rice, beans and stuff). Supposedly this resets your hormones or something?

Either way, we are all human, I over eat from time to time when an occasion calls for it (although some of those occasions see me drinking more so than eating my calories), as long as I don't go off the rails all is ok. As others have said, one bad day does not make you fat, weight loss is a long journey as was weight gain, keep your numbers below your TDEE on average and over time you will get thinner.
