Inches vs Pounds

Okay, so I haven't been the best eater the last few weeks however I've been really good about making sure I get all my workouts in. I haven't dropped any pounds, but I feel like I'm losing inches. I can't tell by the way my clothes have been fitting. I'm happy that I'm losing either way. Just wondering if its odd to be losing inches first then pounds? I feel like it should be pounds first then inches, when trying to tone up. Any thoughts?

Sometimes with females it can depend heavily on what time of the month it is. It could be because you're retaining fluid and that's why you haven't lost weight. The best way to check if you're still losing weight is to go by your waist measurement as we hold fluid around our bellies
If your waist measurement is still decreasing, chances are you're still losing weight.
