Rosie, you can always get back on track! At the very least, this person can no longer take advantage of you! Tomorrow is a new day! Get as much rest as you can!

Sorry about the theft, glad to see your update that you are not quitting. We all have bad days and I have binged from time to time, but the good news is tomorrow is another day and another chance to succeed. Plus, I have found exercise is a great way to deal with emotions!! I never would have thought I would be one of those people that enjoy it but I genuinely do. Good luck with your journey and I hope you are able to recover some of the money your employee took :drinker:

Never give up. Trials are placed before us to make us stronger...each one different and harder than the previous. Each one different in time, yet each one of them passed. With each one, we are able to look back and say, "I remember how hard that was", "I remember how I got thru that", " I REMEMBER....!"

With that, you remember you got throught it and realized you have it in you to get through the rough patches, and yes they are patches, some bigger some smaller, but patches none-the-less. YOU just never gave up.

Yes it's hard.....yes, it's wrong what she did, but YOU WILL get through this patch too.

You know you are binging...stop. This too just came to a pass with that little action.

Hold your chin up, smile knowing this is too going to pass, and listen to some soft music while stretching.

Please, don't give up. You can do it.

Check out the stats on a gastric band - they aren't that great. You can eat around a band and either gain any weight you lost in the beginning back or not lose much.

A lot of people learn they can eat "slider foods" that would include chocolates, which melts to liquid in the mouth, milk shakes and ice cream, cream soups, regular chips, which can be chewed to almost a liquid state, etc. Think of how something like Cheetos puffs melt and turn to liquid. All these foods simply slide through the small opening the band has.

Getting healthy the natural way is best and as I said I know you are capable of getting to your goal. Don't let one dishonest jerk ruin what you've done so far.

    Wish you all the best.

A year from now do you want to look back and say, "I wish I hadn't quit. If I hadn't quit I would have probably lost this much weight by now."

This is when you have to be your strongest and your most stubborn. Give yourself permission to feel bad, to feel sorry for yourself until tomorrow. Then stand up and go at it again. I guarantee you will feel proud when you do.

Ok. Quit. Can't expect to diet and improve yourself in a vaccum.

You realize that surgery is not a quick fix right? Even with surgery you need to work towards your goal. You can't just sit on your *kitten* and expect magic. You're having a hard day. Maybe it'll turn into a hard week or a hard month or a hard year. . It's still not an excuse. There's a lot of people on this site who have it worse and still do great. This is a lifestyle change. If you're gonna let a bad day make you quit after all you're hard work then maybe you should just stop. It doesn't sound like you are ready or committed to this journey. And if you're not ready or committed, in the end it won't work.

so sorry that you are going through that. I can only imagine the pain you felt, after discovering what your friend had done. I know you came back on, and stated that you were not really going to quit, which is great! Glad to hear that. Just wanted to offer some encouragement to you. You are stronger than you think. And you CAN do this!! No matter what life may throw at you, you can overcome it!!

First, take a deep breath and try to relax. We all have our bad days...some of mine turned into weeks. But I pulled myself together and kept moving forward. You haven't failed unless you quit and if you quit when things aren't going right in your life it will only make things worse. If you quit today a month or year down the road you will wish you got back on track and focused on being a better you.

One thing I have to remind myself often when I am feeling stressed is that I can't control the things that are out of my control but I can control things such as what I eat and how often I exercise. Exercise helps reduce stress, truth!

Pull yourself together. Remember why you are doing this and DON'T give up! You got this!!!

Had a horrible day! One of my employees who was also a personal friend has been caught stealing off me. My business has lost £900 this month.

Spent all day rowing with people...in stinking mood.

Have been bingeing non stop from noon.

Think this is over....never going to lose weight....will have to save my pennies for a gastric band instead

I'm guessing that since you posted this here you really aren't thinking about quitting but really just venting. We all have bad days and feel like tossing in the towel. But you know what, you would be quitting on yourself. You should be your biggest cheerleader. You are worth the extra effort it takes to stay on point.

got back on track and this morning had lost 0.7 kg from yesterday. think this is a one off spurious weight loss as I binged yesterday, but now back on the wagon.

i just want to say to all the idiots who posted things like "go on quit then" I think you should know that i HAVE BINGE EATING DISORDER which has been diagnosed by medical specialists. this makes life tough for me and if you want to mock you should sling you hook and clear off a SUPPORT forum.

And if you're going to take stuff like that personally it would be better to vent on your news feeds.

Falling off the wagon once in a while does not mean you have to quit. PIck yourself up, thanks God you're alive and move on!

Ok there you go, best solution right after all the crap is to sabotage yourself even more so...an easy way out of course. Take a moment to recognize what had happened, it does hurt,it's not your fault and so you don't have to punish yourself for that it will only add fuel to the fire. Clear your head. It's not the end of the world, you know you deserved better.

In the words of one of your countrymen, (my appologies if this is politically incorrect or offends):

" Never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.'' - Winston Churchill 29 October 1941 to the boys at Harrow School.

Don't give up. You're the better person than your so called friend. Do this for you. You deserve it. She/he'll get what is coming to them! What goes around comes around and everything happens for a reason. This will make you stronger! x

I agree, one bad day shouldn't be the end of it! I did quit here and packed on lots of weight over Christmas and Easter. Finally, looking down at the scale one morning I said "that's it" and I won't look back now. I have bad days too....we all do... Hang in there!
You can friend me for extra support if you wish!
