A small sucess for hubby and I

I began this journey just over a month ago, and my hubby joined about 2 weeks ago now. We chose to have our babies back to back, so for the past 3 years I have been prego. I ate what I wanted, he followed my lead. We both gained weight, which was so frustrating, as we were in the best shape of our lives before we chose to have our babies.
Well now the babies are all here, we are taking care of ourselves!! In a month, I am so proud to be down 9lbs, and almost half way at my goal! and Hubby is down 6lbs in a week and a half!!!!!!!
We are feeling like new people again, and feeling like better in shape parents to chase around our babies!!!

It makes it so much easier when your partner is on board with you. My hubby tries but he just doesn't have the right frame of mind right now.0

Doing this with my wife has made it easy. We eat most of our meals together and work hard in the gym together. It is a pain to cook seperate meals when only one of you is eating healthy. Between the 2 of us we have lost 80lbs from 3/23/10 until now. She is down from 150 to 120 and I am down from 228 to 178.0

You are so right! It was very frustrating when I started, and my husband would eat my favourite foods that are super unhealthy for you right in front of me.. ooo I was jealous. lol. But now that we are doing this together, it is great! Meals are healthy, we are both working our tails off at the gym, it is almost like we are becoming new parents in the process, taking the kids on long walks, to the park - stuff we were too tired to do before!!
I think your greatest support is your spouse!0
