Looking to see what others are using. Every time I find a good deal its gone when the time comes to reorder. Amazon has been my friend and I love the subscribe and save.

Last order was 5lbs of Dymatize iso-100 Gourmet Chocolate. Price seemed to have jumped over 10.00 and I ordered that February 1.

I am looking for lactose free(most important), minimal to no fat, minimal to no carbs, minimal to no fillers, must be whey. No soy, hemp, almond,... Dymatize hit the nail on the head, minus the price increase on Amazon. Maybe other sites?

    Bodybuilding.com

    Gaspari Nutrition - Myofusion
    MusclePharm - Combat Powder
    Truetein (brand name?)
    SciVation - Whey

I use Jay Robb protein powder. It is 100% whey isolate protein. Per scoop it has 110 cals, 0g sugar, 1g carbs. I have problems with lactose but this protein powder does not bother me.

So far every protein powder I've tried causes problems except for Muscle Milk (which is labelled Zero Lactose). I don't like the extra carbs and fat that Muscle Milk comes with though. The other brands I've tried usually say 98% or 99% lactose free and state the enzyme lactase as an ingredient but they still cause lactose intolerance symptoms.

Does anyone know of a brand of whey that is truly lactose-free?

me too, I have a recent suspicion that my bloating is caused by my protein shakes. (though all other dairy is fine??)

My trainer has suggested to try a lactose free protein....

    will post results/findings....

I tried Whey protein for the longest time but can't tolerate milk. Switched to Raw Vegan so far so good. Taste was funky but now I add fruit and 1/2 vanilla. Doing well.

Have you guys tried soy, hemp, or rice proteins supplements? They can be found at health food stores. They are more pricy then whey ones but most (you have to read the label) are vegan, dairy, and wheat glutton free. Some are really low calories too as they are sweetened with stevia instead of sugar.

Look at walmart, I buy the big tub for $20. I get the chocolate because I just mix it with water. I bake with the vanilla.

I get my supplements and shakes either through supplementsforsport.co.uk (because it's based not far from me) or from myprotein.com. They have a ton of different things there. Keep treating myself to something different each month on top of the basic shakes etc. They have the green supplements there too if thats an area that you're interested in. Not sure if you're uk based or US based though :)

I was dairy free for awhile and used Unflavored Pea Protein. It is best when mixed with fruit etc. ( i also use it to make baked protein and seed *crackers*) , sometimes add it to soups etc. .... it's about the same price as walmart's whey...) http://www.puritan.com/plant-protein-697/pea-protein-unflavored-073421

I use the brown rice protein one. Since whey is a dairy product it bothers me. The ones they advertise as lactose free but still containing dairy bother me as well. I would stick to rice or hemp protein. Sometimes I also put in some PB2 dried peanut butter for my protein in a smoothie.

Personally, I use soy (Optimum Nutrition brand), but I but whey powder for my husband. I've done a lot of shopping around and have found the best prices on Vitacost.com, and they have a huge selection of brands and different types of protein. I've got codes for $10 off a $30 purchase, message me if you'd like one.
