Hi team,
I was just curious about how often you all check your progress and what methods do you use?
For example:
Do you check your progress daily/weekly/monthly?
What methods do you use to check your progress? Including weighing yourself, checking mirror, getting body composition test etc
Thanks

I weigh myself pretty frequently, but only record drops as water fluctuations don't interest me. Also take pictures every Friday, and measure myself when I think of it (usually every few weeks, but no schedule).
I've thought of getting my body fat professionally measured, but will wait until we have a little extra money before I do.0 -
I take measurements once a month and weigh daily0

Weight, BF%, muscle %, mirror, how clothes fit - daily
measure, pics - Hmm, it's been a while. I should do that.0 -
Weigh- daily (I like data)
Measurements- bi-weekly
Pictures- monthly0 -
I check my weight once a week and usually only loose weight every two weeks, I know that my body has changed because I have had to punch new holes in my belt to keep my pants up, I will take a measurement every month or two or when I feel that I've changed in pant size, measuring and weighing too often can become depressing because it can be a slow process but everyone is different!0

I check the scale about every 2 weeks, but only as often as once a week. It can get disheartening to check it more frequently.
My trainer does a body fat % composition pinch test every 6 weeks/at the end of my packages, and measures circumfrence on muscle groups.
I take pics about every six months I'd say, but even less consistent about that.
Mostly it's in clothes for the day to day, or how long I can run or how winded I am after a few flights of stairs.0 -
I weigh in and take measurements once a week- Every Wednesday. Also, I like to make side by side pics so that I can actually SEE my progress because unfortunately, when I look in the mirror, I feel like I still look the same!! So annoying!! lol0

I weigh every 3 weeks or so (weight loss has been a long and slow process for me)
I measure every week - I find this the most motivating
I take photos at the start of every month.0 -
Thanks all, this is very helpful
.
I plan to do some progress pictures on Sunday morning which is the day before I start my rigorous training and will do this every 4 weeks.
Fortunately we have a quiet room at work which comes with an electric scale so will weigh myself just before work once a week. I have a free LA Fitness gym pass coming up so might take the opportunity to get them to do an accurate body fat test.
Once again thanks for you comments0 -
Weigh in every day but only log in officially on Sundays.

I weigh myself once a week since my goal is to loose 1 1/2 lbs. a week. Also by how my clothes are fitting.0
