Looking for opinions

Hi,
I am just wondering when some of you think is the best time to work out. Early morning, afternoon or late evening.

Whichever time works best for your energy level and your schedule. Your body doesn't care.

Whenever you have time. It doesn't make a difference.

The best time to workout is when you will do it consistently. For me, that's in the morning before work. It might be different for someone else. COnsistency is key, there's no realy benefit to a certain time over another. The only thing to be careful of is some people find that working out too close to bedtime can disrupt sleep patterns or give you problems falling asleep.

Whenever you feel the best. For me it's afternoon or evenings. I'm useless in the AM

Whenever you will be dedicated to doing it. I often work out late at night, sometimes after midnight. It's when i have free time and the energy to do it.

As someone already said. Your body doesn't care. it doesn't know what time it is.

I've adapted to my routine. I started running at night because that's when I've had time. When I've tried to run at other times, I've noticed it's a little more difficult. I'm sure I could alter my routine if I wanted.

Whenever, however... just get it done! I've been known to do some exercises at work.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I really appreciate it. I guess I may end up with evening workouts. It's quieter around the house then and I won't be disturbed at that time either.

I exercise sometimes in the morning, which gives me lots of energy for the day. But I also exercise a lot at night because that's what works with my schedule. So, do whatever you want; as DavPaul said, your body doesn't care!

I prefer morning even though its harder to get yourself to do it after you do you seem to have more energy through the day and if i workout in the evning i cant sleep for crap

I used to think I could never do first thing in the morning workouts. In January, I changed jobs and evenings were no longer a viable option (not to mention the influx of new members at the gym). I now find I do so much better in the mornings, and it gets me going for my day. I on occasion go back to the evenings when I have to run my kids somewhere inthe mornings, and I just don't have the energy I do in the mornings.

For me it's at 5am before I go to work. If I attempt to do it in the evening I'm sat at work all day talking myself out of it then by the time I leave it doesn't get done. If I get it out of the way early I can then 'slob out' in the evening and not feel bad!
