Lets share our music here and help each other create a following.

I played years ago. Play at home all of the time and occasionally sit in with local musicians for jam sessions. Here is a recording of me playing to a backing track. I was still trying to figure out Guitar Rig. Excuse the bad notes, it was a single take.

I started playing guitar a few years back. I don't play in any bands. Not sure if that counts for this thread or not. I play stuff like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Social Distortion, Paradise Lost, Accept, Collective Soul etc. Nothing too technical ha ha

I really like it. A plethora of tone possibilities.

Been playing lead guitar and in bands since the 60's. Still gigging occasionally, I had to give up regular gigging about 5 years ago as my job involves a lot of international travel, some of it at relatively short notice. Don't play guitar as often as I should but still have all my gear. It's funny, but I've been all through all the digital stuff starting with the old Zoom that strapped to the guitar strap but in the end came back to basics with a Fender valve amp, a self built Strat with a Clapton circuit fitted (goes from clean to Santana in the twist of a knob) and the best pickups I have found so far, hand built Bareknuckle pickups, and a couple of stomp boxes, all very retro. The only digital effect I have now is Delay as I got fed up struggling with tape loops on an old Copykat echo unit!

  • I studied classical vocal music for four years and still sing a bit, mainly as a hobby. I do have a YouTube channel, though, with some really bad quality "covers".
