Double-edged boob

Last month I saw a cute top at Target. I didn't get it at the time and really regretted it. I coveted that top. I planned outfits, social gatherings, the whole 9 with this top.

Today I tried it on. The large was too big for my waist. The MEDIUM didn't fit my waist. But guess what MFP? Neither size was big enough for my boobs.

WTF? Victory dance and sob fest all at once.. I went from an XL to a possible small but can't stuff these knockers into anything..

Ugh

If you love it, get the top in whatever size fits up top, and get thee to a tailor.

    Also, story of my life.

    It's a super pain... I'm a decent medium, but these suckers overflow a 36DD... it's ridiculous.

yeah that does get annoying.. but I wouldnt complain.. better then loosing your boobs to wt loss! I wore XL and now can fit some mediums! super excited.. can seem to fit my chest in too though.. I was a 40DD to now a 38 DD or snug D depending.. almost a 36 :drinker: .. but im glad they stayed about the same with my wt loss.. and my boyfriend is glad too
I have a friend that went from a D to almost an A cup!!! she is not so happy... so be careful whatcha complain about

Awww :( Its okay girl I know how u feel! I went to our local mall yesterday to buy some spring/summer clothes. There was this adorable tank-top at bootlegger... it was a burgundy sheer material with white pokadots on it. Right now I am a size medium-large coming from a xl-1xl. No matter which size I tried on, this top literally squished my boobs... and i dont have very large boobs :( some clothing is just made in a weird style, that if you are not a manequin, good luck LOL

And that's the reason I can't wear SM sizes either. I was never willing to take $2-$5 walmart tops to the tailor though, so I'd just buy them baggy OR I'd get scissors and make a few strategic cuts to loosen up the top area.
  • I have always had this trouble, :( sucks balls. I usualy buy clothes a few sizes too big with now shape at all just to avoid this lol.

Ha ha welcome to my world. Cute clothing now and days is reserved for the skin and bones ladies with tiny tiny tatas it seems. I have the same issue. If it fits the waist the boobs are falling out, if it fits the boobs then the shirt is too big everywhere else.
Same with pants, they fit the butt but there is a gap at the waist or fit the waist but look painted on =( And I am too short for regular length but too tall for petite waaaaaaaah:sad:

Bravissimo do shirts tailored for smaller sizes but bigger boobs.

Given the number of women having implants, you would think the manufacturers would have caught on by now.

Congrats on the weight loss though

I have this issue with dress shirts. 2X on shoulders and arms, but only L on my midsection... find a local tailor, they're typically pretty cheap.

ETA: I pay $2-$3 per shirt I have tailored. Well worth it to have it fit nice.

Just the wrong style and cut for you. Nothing wrong with your body! Clothes are cut for all different shapes as well as sizes and there are some things that us larger busted girls just can't wear - but we can look fab in other things. Flat chested girls also despair when they can't fill the clothes that you look gorgeous in.

I can have the same issue as you :flowerforyou: - my boobs don't seem to be shrinking, totally can't complain though! Still a 10~12D (in Australian sizes, not sure what that is in the US)

However where I live - Japan - there are many things that are 'free size', and showing boobs and shoulders is a NO GO ZONE! In over 6 months of living here I have worn only one dress that shows my boobs and shoulders (which was netted anyway so still covered).

And 'free size' means one size fits all... I still remember this adorable beige jacket I HAD to buy, but the button was so stretched on my bust it looked ridiculous...

It is hard to find flattering clothes, especially when you have to pretend you don't have boobs...
