Was out drinking last night..

So i was out drinking last night with my a couple of friends, it was the first time drinking in about a month, and i had like 6-7 heineken's and a glass of jameson, i also ate a little pizza, i woke up to realize that i gained 4 pounds overnight, i this normal? this is such a bummer, and yes i hydrated myself before going to bed...

  • Did the same and gained 3 lbs. I have done this ever now and then and always gain water and bloat. I also feel like crap because it takes less to get drunk and then I have a hangover. Just make sure to get right back on track, exercise, eat right etc. It will take a few days to feel better and get the bloat off. I have realized, one night of fun is not worth the feeling bad day, bloat and overall pissed off feeling!!!

    Nothing tastes as good as feeling thin!!!

    I ussually lose 2 lbs a week, does that mean it'll take me 2 weeks to lose the weight i gained yesterday?

    I had a similar experience when I woke up yesterday morning. I got up and doubled my exercise routine, and I drank water all day. I'm back to where I was Friday morning now.
  • Might take a few days to get back to weight before night of fun!!! That is why I have reduced the number of times go out drinking as I hate the "after effects"!!!

    No. You didn't gain fat or muscle, you probably retained water from the pizza (although when I drink, I usually lose weight the next day due to dehydration. You probably offset this with the pizza and by re-hydrating). As long as you get back to proper diet and excercise, your body will get back to your "real" weight in a couple days.
