Some 30 Day Shred questions ... :)

Hi there everybody!
I'm very keen on starting the 30 day shred, I do a lot of Fitness Blenders videos and tonight I decided (if I can get a few pointers and re-assurance from you all) that I'd like to start it tomorrow.
Firstly, I was wondering, what number of calories would be a good amount to have for breakfast if I was doing this workout 30-45 minutes after breakfast? And what amount of calories should I be consuming after the workout, if you're supposed to eat again straight after your workout.
* I'm terribly sorry if my questions aren't clear, or explained properly. I'm just trying as hard as I can to make a positive difference in my life and body instead of restricting calories and being miserable. I read a lot of posts but I spose I'm just not getting the whole calorie thing.
If I was consuming 1300 calories everyday, and burning off 300 through exercise, do I re-eat those calories I burnt off, so after burning 300 calories I must go eat 300 calories of something healthy? - or if this might be better explaining it - say I ate 300 calories for breakfast, and then burnt 300 calories off, would my daily intake so far be nothing? So then would I have to eat another 300 calories so my intake then is 300 calories so far for the day? I just find it strange eating it back again, I've always thought you should try get rid of as many calories as you can, so at the end of the day maybe you're just on 700, but I can imagine this is exactly what lead to my unhealthy behaviors with food. I hope I am making sense to you all, I really do appreciate every reply I see, and lovely comments from helpful people just wanting the best for me, I'm so grateful, and thankful to you all for taking your time to try help me out. thank you!
ALSO, what are some healthy breakfasts you can suggest before doing 30 day shred? And some snacks that your supposed to have after your workout (?) ?
Thanks for taking the time to read this all !

what you have for breakfast depends a lot on your preference. I don't like doing cardio with very much or anything in my stomach.
all that jumping, it just doesn't work for me. so as long as you have enough energy, you'll be fine.
I would usually just have a little fruit, or maybe some nuts, if I need a snack before doing a workout.
for lifting weights most people say they need protein or substantial food before the workout,
but again, this varies from person to person greatly and what time of day, how tired you are etc. affects it too.0 -
just to clarify, i would classify the jillian dvd's mostly cardio, bc she includes so much jumping, burpees and so on.0

I LOVE both 30 DS and Ripped in 30 and I alternate them 3-4 times/week. If you have a HRM, that is the best way to measure calories burned. Some use the MFP info and consider it "Circuit" (not cardio). Be careful with that because it gives too many calories burned, unless you use 20 min. rather than the 27 (omitting the warm-up and cool-down portion).
As far as eating before, that depends on you. I could not do 30 DS on an empty stomach, so if I do it in the morning, I have a piece of toast and 1/2 protein smoothie at least 45 min. before exercising and the other 1/2 of the smoothie after.
Personally, I don't even count my calories from this (usually burn 150) and just consider that those calories 3-4 times/week will cover any underestimations, etc. I may make. I do count my 5-7 Jazzercise classes and I do eat those calories back.0
