Analyzing Measurements & inches lost--What are yours?

I started MFP in January. I've lost 32 lbs, I've gone down 2-3 pants size, but I didn't take my first measurements until the beginning of March. I measured following guidelines i found here on MFP which include bust, chest, hips, waist, thigh, calves, upper arms, fore arms, and neck. I took my 2nd set of measurements yesterday and was down 10.25 inches overall. This didn't seem like much for almost 6 weeks and an additional 12 lb loss. So I'm wondering if this is low, and what others have lost in inches in about a months time. Thanks!

Most noticeably, going from a 48inch waist to a 37 inch (which is a bugger as UK jeans go up in increments of 2) and going from a XXXL t-shirt to XL0

I don't know what you mean by 10.25 inches overall. I only compare apples to apples...i.e. my waist measurement last month to my waist measurement this month, etc. There's not a lot of benefit in an overall XXX inches as the fat is going to come off in different places.
For example, I no longer lose inches around my neck...most of that fat is gone, but it's the first place I started losing...now I'm losing more inches around my waste...that was really slow at first...I didn't lose a single inch around my waste for the first 15 Lbs...now I recently lost an entire inch with only 3 Lbs lost.
It's all variable...don't worry about it...as long as the trend is downward, everything is a-ok.0 -
Bugger, missed the month part... well, in that case going from 48 to 42 jeans (thank you Campylobacter.... he says sarcastically) and going from XXL to XL.
It takes 4 weeks for you to see a change yourself
It takes 8 weeks for family to see the change
It takes 12 weeks for the world to see your change
Keep at it.0 -
Progress is good! I'm just two weeks into focusing on weight loss, one week using MFP. I've lost 2" off my waist, but that's the only measurement I've taken so far- going to fix that now.0

Thank you that helps! Because I lost in some areas but was slightly disappointed that other measurements were the same.0
