Help! I want to climb mountains!

My husband and I are going to be traveling to Arizona this August, and I really want to be able to do a mountain climbing adventure together. The problem is ... I have no idea where to start. What types of exercises should I be doing over the next 4 months to get myself ready?

    I would start with some easy hikes and get out there and just work to more challenging ones! If you aren't in an area that is good for this, get in hill walking, do basic strength training and work on your endurance with walking/running

    Does this adventure include rock climbing? If so, you will need upper body strength, as well as endurance.

    Pretty much any full body strength training, combined with hiking or walking, will help move you in the right direction.

    It might be fun to check out the training schedule for Tough Mudder, they have a "boot camp" available on their website.
