    Advice/suggestions without questions is meaningless. Post some info about yourself: age, height, weight, goal, life style, etc. Open your diary. That way people have something to go on. Ignore the dissers and only take what you want from the message boards.

    Hi Welcome aboard! I started in January and have a long way to go but this program is way better than anything I have tried in the past! I have done Jenny Craig, Sure Slim as well as many junk so called quick loss programs out there....as most people here have. I like this one cause I am in total control, it cost me nothing and I only have me to answer too. I have my best friend as my buddy we are doing this together and we are both successful so far both have lost close to 20 lbs.

    There's isnt much secret to it really, depending on your goals you're trying to achieve, there'll be several roads you could follow.

    So tell us, what are you trying to achieve and what are your long-term goal?

    It's a great site. My advice would be to log "Everything" that you eat. If MFP put you on 1200 calories, then bump it up to at least 1400. Read the forums, there is a lot of great information on there. Take it slow and easy. I used it to lose 20 pounds last year, spent the winter gaining 18 of it back, and started again on Jan 1.
