My diet starting to bore me!

But you gotta stick with it now. It got you where you are and now you do it to maintain.Been eating incredibly clean for weeks now with occasional indulgence over the weekend. I am no longer looking forward to lunch or dinner. Its all starting to taste bland. I cook meals when I can. Been eating chicken, beans, veggies, eggs, fish, cheese. But now everything tastes like same ol' same ol'. What to do? Put hot sauce in everything? I dont want to get fat.
Or come over to the dark side and eat what ever the **** you want (within reason) and not worry about it as long as you don't exceed daily calories.

So this is probably un-helpful since you are on maintenance not losing, but when I get bored, I find the funniest diet I can and try it for a week. You know the ones… eat just watermelon, how about some cabbage soup, drink two chocolate shakes every day, ect….. A week latter, when I go back to my boring chicken and broccoli… they taste better! I lost 75 lbs by what I call “diet hopping”. I don’t know what the equivalent for “maintenance stage” would be. Again, I know this idea is stupid & un-helpful but its my cure for bordem healthy eating.0

I made fajitas tonite heavy on the veggies, will stuff chicken breast with artichokes, sundried tomatoes & feta tuesday, plan to finish the week out with black bean pizza. I look foreward to eating it & it's healthy! Just change up your recipes to add a little excitement.0
