For once, a "Fitness band" is interesting to me. :blushing:
But It says "for this spring" since forever... no news yet... :indifferent:
Anyone has any spoilers on the launch or what's happening?

I have seen dates anywhere from 4/28 to 5/15. I can't wait for this to launch!!!0
-
No idea, but I am buying it THE DAY it comes out. So excited (:0
-
Amazon was preselling it with a shipping date of 4/15, but now its no longer available for preorder. So I'm assuming there's something holding it back. If you go to fitbit's blog on their website, they imply that they were still in testing back in February/March.0

On the website as well.. no more pre-orders it says "Pre-order has been sold-out." !?!?!?:ohwell:0 -
I think mid May is likely.
The Flex is now listed on the UK website as one of their official products when it wasn't about a week or so ago.
I think it is Andris synching which is holding things back as well as actual accuracy given the Flex will be worn on a different body position that the One or Ultra.0 -
I pre-ordered from the FitBit site quite some time ago....
Earlier this week, Amazon had it listed as May 15th ... today it's missing from Amazon completely.
FitBit site still says "Spring"
Luckily, I have a FitBit One to get by until then ... but I sure look forward to not having to switch the band at night or shove it in my bra every day0 -

Not a good sign... don't they give you any updates!?0 -
I want one so badly. I am hoarding an Amazon gift certificate so that I can get one when it comes out.0

I started with fitbit...then it started to split, so I upgraded to the fitbit one. Love it, except for the few times it has fallen out of the wrist band during sleep.. The alarm makes it much easier to find since linking with android! I rather like having it clipped to my bra. Not sure that I would switch to Flex...I think I would forget to take it off when swimming.0

It says it's water resistant...0 -
It is water/sweat resistant so that you can wear it in the shower and while exercising, but I think they suggest that you don't wear it swimming.0

Water resistant so shouldn't be a big deal in showers, but NOT water proof for submersability.
(ie: No swimming, diving, hot tubbing...)0 -

THIS! Well said.
I know their first few models had issues with sweat causing them to break down before thier time...so the water/corrosion factor was an important fix. I haven't had a problem with the two that I have had. My Fitbit One fell into the sink while brushing my teeth. Grabbed it out, dried off, and haven't had a problem, Thank heavens!0 -
I just pre-ordered this! I'm Canadian and Amazon.ca seems to still be taking pre-orders- to be released May 25th.
I've never owned anything like this, so I'm excited to get it and hope it helps with motivation- I also like that unlike other wrist bands like this it's supposed to also accurately count your steps while your arms are still, like pushing a stroller, which is important to me.0 -

Never had any problem with a water resistant watch when swimming... so figured is would be the same...0 -

I was able to order this on Amazon last week, said it would email me when getting ready to ship. A friend that works at Best Buy says they have it listed as "shipping" to the stores. So hopefully in the next couple weeks!0
-
I ordered online and can pick mine up in the nearest Best Buy store TODAY
I did see that it's not available for home shipping on the Best Buy site.0 -
Its available at best buy in store pick up right now. I just put in my order0
-
Didn't they just come up with two new products only last year? Glad I didn't get one now. This waterproof idea sounds good though:)0

I want...0

Got an email... ITS OUT! :bigsmile:0
-
Now that it is out, I'd love to hear back from people who have used it. I'm considering getting one!0

I would love to know how it works. I am still rather new to all this and I didn't even know what FitBit was. However before I spent that much money I would love how much of a difference it is. I use free apps on my iphone to track my exercise, biking walking and hiking. I don't count my regular walking around, cleaning or gardening, since it was already in my regular week.0

I agree with you guys! How is it so far!?!0
