hi trying to gain weight

hi im 24 i struggle to gain weight i just dont know what to eat ,i want to gain 20 pounds to be in a healthy weight. does anyone here trying to gain weight?

    Hey, Welcome :-)

    Since im pretty good at gaining weight i can honestly say that carbs WAS my best friend, ive totally cut back now and seeing a difference.

    When you burn cals you burn carbs first instead of fat, so maybe you could up your portion size of carbs.
    Im really not an expert on this (obviously)

    I used to drink Carnation Instant Breakfast with Whole Milk every day when I needed to gain weight.

    Here are some other ideas for adding healthy calories:

    Chicken with the skin
    Steak
    Cheese
    Whole eggs (including deviled eggs, egg salad)
    Full fat dairy (including cottage cheese, yogurt)
    Fruit,
    Peanut butter or other nut butters
    Nuts
    Avocado
    Dried fruit (raisins, apricots, apples)
    Brown rice
    Dark chocolate
    Salmon
    Add Chia seeds to salads or yogurt
    Olive oil
    Smoothies
    Granola/sports nutrition bars

    For starters, you are beautiful in your profile pic! If you want to gain lean muscle (trust me, it's hard for women to look nasty bulky when gaining muscle NATURALLY!) you sould be eating a diet of high protein and Marianne is correct..."healthy" complex carbs :) Consider adding some strength training to your daily routine too! www.fitbe.com is a great website for tips on healthy diets and even workouts your can do from home!     for me i lifted weights and drank and ate a lot of preteine and a lot of peanut butter, ik a lot of friends that eat A LOT of tuna and rice to gain weight so theirs that i wouldnt say eat a lot of calories of junk food or just bread you'll gain more then the weight you want im sure but lifting and building muscle makes you gain weight pretty fast in my opinion as long as u take enough protein
