Week 1 completed and feel great. Have always struggled with running, never been able to consistantly run for any period of time, but I am hoping that I can complete this. Well worth it as it eases you in gently.
Week 2 starts tomorrow!!!

I love the C25K program. I am on week 6 and it's amazing to run for 20 to 25 minutes straight without dying! Good job! :flowerforyou:

    Hey congrats!

I finished C25K last week, and I am trying to keep running for 30m 2/3 times a week. Its really helping me with my fitness and weight loss, so enjoy the successes and dont give up! It gets harder, but every week really prepares you for the next, so keep pushing! such a great feeling when you finish each week!
Are you doing it with the podcasts? I couldnt have done it without them!

    GOOD LUCK and GREAT JOB!

Keep up the good work Alan

i never thought i could complete W2, running for 90 seconds felt like forever. W4 scared the Cr@p out of me but when you get to W6 you can look back and think, what was i worried about :O)

I'm sure you will be fine.

    Good luck with W2 tommorow

Anyone have a copy of the training schedule for the C25k? My 12 yr old son has lost a lot of weight since I've started changing everyone's diet and now he wants to start jogging ang having me for a jogging buddy. I would definitely like to but I'm already finding that it's becoming a little bit difficult since my muscles for cycling are a little more overdeveloped than my muscles for walking/runnig. By the way, with the fat, I hate how huge my thighs look! Yes, cycling increases your thigh size and gives you an iron butt.

I am not using the podcasts, I have my own music, which really helds. What are the podcasts?

Also, when im done with this il do the 10k one (I think there is one). I will start at teh beginning of that one and run quicker.

Thanks for everyone who sent me the info for the C25k. I talked to my son about it and we're going to start it this week. Although it shows to only do 3 days of training, we may sneak in a 4th. My son has lost a lot of weight and really wants to start up the jogging so now I'm committed.
