what do you mean by on the go? Like buying something when you are out? or prepping something in the morning that you can eat on a busy day?0

Not sure what you mean but when I am at work I usually grab something from Boots. They have a food range called SHAPERS which i think is amazing! They have great snacks for 10 calories and zero fat. They also have a meal deal which is pretty good. I think its a sandwich/salad + snack + drink for £3.00.
Really tasty, really guilt free and really easy on the purse0 -
I do veggies and dip. Tuna salad. Yougurt. Fresh fruits. Beef jerky. Salads. Nuts. Sometimes I do soup and take a thermos.0

I make big salads and put them in a gallon zip lock bag. I put the wet salad toppings in a smaller ziplock baggie. When I'm ready to eat, toss it all together when you are ready to eat. Salad with a side of almonds is great and filling. Egg salad or tuna salad sammies and wraps are great - pair them with a bag of sliced red peppers and hummus. Do you cook in the evenings? How about bringing your leftovers?0

What a good idea!0 -
I take meals with me to class all the time. I usually take a mix of
protein shake or fat free greek yogurt smoothie (yogurt with fruit and usually a sugar free popsicle and/or juice)
a fruity salad (spinach, whatever berries/other fruits sound good, and a light raspberry vinaigrette),
chicken or tuna salad and wheat thins,
little cocktail shrimp if I will eat them soon,
string cheese,
sugar free pudding,
baby quiches (I make a batch at the beginning of the week in a mini muffin pan, freeze them, and take a couple with me to campus),
veggies and dip,
fruits,
half an apple with laughing cow cinnamon cream cheese spread,
a turkey/tomato/avocado sandwich or wrap,
protein bar,
oven fried eggplant (like the quiche, I make a batch, freeze them, and pop a piece in the microwave before heading out),
nuts,
and whatever else I might have hanging around that won't go bad quickly.
I really enjoy making my meals the night before and just popping them in a bag before running out the door. There are a lot of different things I find I can make to take with me. You just have to play around in your pantry.0 -
