I have done thedailyplate.com for quite awhile. I came across this site and thought I would give it a try. So far after 1 day (lol) I am impressed with it. I am a 46 year old mother of three adult children. I am 5'8 161lbs and would like to get back down to 146 again. I love food and do not do very well in drinking water. Bad combo. Hopefully I can stick with my new exercise regimen and healthier eating. Anyone else try the daily plate and what are your comparisons? Looking forward to MFP's daily loggings.

Welcome. I use the livestrong/dailyplate website also, but only for refernces and health and fitness tips. I use this website to record my food. This sight is really good and has been life changing for me.

I just checked out their Website & think it seems harder to use, plus it is not free. After you sign up, they try to get you to join The "Gold" Diet plan for a payment .
I have been really happy with MFP, most any food item is in their database with changeable amt & calories for the portion of food you had, & a daily meals listing that is super - easy to fill out.
I think you will be really happy with MFP !!
