Hi,
Its my very First message to this forum.Although I have joined this site fairly ages ago but seriously I really need to watch my weight/body now.
My height is 5'1 approx
My weight is 155 lbs approx
I have pear shaped body- so my belly, hips and thighs are the troublesome areas!
I want to lose the belly fat -- after 3 children it seems way to bulky!)
Currently thinking of doing Insanity Workout.
Although I do have a little back pain and my feet ache---( I believe it was since last year when I was running on treadmill and my feet have become sore since then) I'm low on Vitamin D and that makes me tired easily. (Although I'm taking supplements)
I hope I can cope with it...
Now...
Back to Insanity. Can someone please guide me on how many calories I should be eating?
And If you can please share you experiences to motivate me.
What diet plan you followed and when did you do the insanity workout? am/pm?
Did you drink any recovery drink? is it really needed? or can we have some egg whites/ a glass milk and half banana after the exercise to recover? -- i read about chocolate milk...But seriously I'm not sure? And what chocolate milk is better out there?
Sorry so many questions.I would be glad if someone could answer and enlighten.
Thank you

I am currently doing the military diet and I do very little exercise and after day one of the diet I am down 3 pounds. I have the fatness in my lower stomach and hips as well. I tried insanity it helped a little with hardening and toning my body but my lower stomach fat still remained. I recommend running!!!! Also just watch your calories.0

I have not tried Insanity.. but as for number of calories to eat, you can either let MFP calculate it for you, or you can go to a website and calculate your TDEE to determine calories for weight loss
it's all a matter of preference. I do my workouts in the evenings, so can't really help you with the what to eat.. I don't normally do any sort of energy drink or recovery drink. I just stick to water
Good luck !0 -
I havent tried insanity I bought shawn t rockin body and love it. I put foods on mfp and i drink lots of protein drinks through out the day.0

Hi,
Thank you for your input.Although the websites could calculate it ...I'm not sure if it would be okay with 'insanity Workout?
I have got the nutrition booklet from the 'insanity' and it does mention on how to workout the calories.
However since I'm jumping into Insanity , may be an experienced 'Insanity' member could guide me?0
